About Us

Life Worth Living Inc. is a non-profit organization that aims to transform lives through sports. Our mission is to increase quality youth sports participation by providing financial assistance to families and communities that lack sufficient resources; and to provide education through life skills and safe and healthy sports-related play.

Youth sports are critical for kids to develop character and important life skills, such as teamwork, self-confidence, and perseverance. Research shows that active kids do better in life, and sports have historically allowed all kids to live an active and healthy lifestyle.

Life Worth Living was founded in 2007 to address these challenges in youth sports. We help kids from low-income families access sports through our grant program, which provides funding for registration fees, equipment, and other associated costs. We help keep kids in the game by facilitating high-quality sports experiences through our education program for coaches, parents, and athletes, which focuses on effective motivation techniques to sustain engagement, life skills, and health and nutrition, including injury prevention and the benefits of multi-sport play.

Youth & Adult Recreation

Youth and Adult Basketball Programs have consistently provided opportunities for men; to engage positively within the community. We are working to provide more options for recreation.   

Youth Outreach & Education

Life Worth Living empowers young people to live long fulfilling lives.

Outreach takes place through presentations, small groups, and individual mentoring services that encourage and support young people in making better choices in their day to day lives.

Advocacy

Gaining access to resources and justice requires advocating for leaders and community members to bring their best of effort.

 We work to bridge communication gaps that have allowed negative power structures and drug use to persist and claim more lives every year.
